Challenge
DeFi users are often forced to switch between multiple protocols to execute even basic yield strategies. My challenge was to simplify advanced financial mechanics without diluting their power. I needed to design an experience that preserved transparency and control while reducing friction, confusion, and unnecessary steps in high-stakes financial flows.
Process
Through iterative prototyping and usability testing with active DeFi users, I refined wallet connection states, transaction confirmations, and liquidation warnings. I implemented a modular UI system to clearly separate markets, positions, and strategies, reducing cognitive load during complex financial decisions.
Outcome
Following launch, Glow saw a 28% increase in active margin accounts. Transaction error rates during borrowing flows dropped by 19% after implementing clearer risk feedback and confirmation states.
By consolidating key DeFi primitives into a single, capital-efficient interface, I helped position Glow Finance as a streamlined liquidity hub within the Solana ecosystem
