Challenge

Despite strong brand recognition and high traffic, the website struggled with product discoverability, overwhelming variant selections, and drop-offs on product pages. Users found it difficult to compare lengths, shades, and collections, leading to hesitation and abandoned carts.

Process

I conducted UX audits, heatmap analysis, and reviewed behavioral data to identify friction points across navigation and product selection. I restructured the information architecture, simplified filtering systems, redesigned PDP layouts, and optimized mobile-first flows. Every change was validated through usability testing and iterative design sprints.

Outcome

The redesign improved product discovery efficiency, reduced cognitive overload, and streamlined the path to purchase, resulting in measurable increases in add-to-cart rates and overall conversion improvements.

We tracked performance through Shopify analytics pre- and post-launch, comparing rolling 30-day windows to control for seasonality. The redesigned product pages increased add-to-cart rates by 22% and overall conversion improved by 14% following the launch.
